Most of us take pictures. On our phones or cameras, we simply snap away capturing a moment in time. Lorri goes way beyond just that moment. She captures the essence, the spirit, indeed the soul of her subject. Her photographs tell a compelling, complex story. They evoke emotion.

On occasions that call for picture-taking, I comply willingly to get it done. But part of Lorri's artistry was to calm and engage some inner part of me so that the experience was enriching and the images full of life.
As she sees you through the camera's lens, you feel her joy, and that definitely shows up in the photos.

Oh my goodness Lorri!!!! I love your work. I am blessed to have had prints made of 3 faves to grace my yoga loft in our new home. I never tire of looking deeply into those flowers as I meditate or practice yoga. They touch my soul and help sustain my practice. Thank you for sharing your garden. It now grows in Pennsylvania as well as in Oregon. Love to you dear one.

I am thrilled to see Lorri's beautifully designed website. I have come to expect nothing less than wonderful from this consummate artist.
I enjoyed her passionate though calming energy while working with her for my photo shoot. I love the pictures that she captured of me which is a miracle in itself as I have a lifetime of being told that I am not photogenic as well as many photos that support this "truth".
To view Lorri's work is to see life through her joyful, love filled eyes. I have had the privilege of viewing many of Lorri's professionally finished and framed works on display years ago and the artistry, beauty and energetic essence are still impressed upon my memory.
We are moving to a larger home where I plan to adorn a wall with picture of the Oregon Coast near Yachats. It is breathtaking!
